I know the list of formats the Xbox one can decode through the media player app/movies & TV. I want to just remux a few of my blurays and play them with audio mostly intact (I can live with the core dts/Dolby tracks, just no aac or similar nonsense). I think the biggest update in the preview is full DLNA and MKV support with the recently launched Media Player app. But for now I focus on the Xbox media player.
